About Simon McDonald

My name is Simon McDonald and I have had the greatest pleasure teaching in the Adult Educational sector for over a decade. I have taught in various colleges across London and the west Midlands plus many other Educational Institutes and Training Organisations.

In addition, I have extensive experience of working closely with the Government and Public Sector Services that support local issues and assist the disadvantaged as well those who are making every endeavour to better their lives and careers. Also with work experiences that stems from Health and Social Care as a facilitator and training manager both in Residential Care and Domiciliary Care. This has enabled me to understand a myriad of principles that relate to combating an array of challenges with self-belief.

The skills sets that I have developed are closely connected to my experience of teaching English literacy in the Adult Learning Environment. Similarly, Dementia Care and Palliative Care have been one of my many interests in the NHS, coupled with my qualification in Psychotherapy and (CBT) Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Furthermore, I have tutored learners in Functional Skills, Soft Skills, Mentoring and Train the Trainer, Football Coaching, Life Coaching, Employment Coaching, Advice and Guidance, Consultancy, the long term Unemployed and Young People.
